Command Master Chief Christopher Brownell, U.S. Navy SEAL/SOCOM (Retired)

Exceptional organizational leader with 32+ years of unusually distinguished military service in the SEAL Teams who has documented excellence working at the highest levels of the Special Operations (SO) enterprise who retired in 2022. During the past 12 years, he has served as the Vice Chairman to the SEAL Legacy Foundation which is the second largest Military and SEAL Foundation in the United States and has given to date over $20 Million in Grants and Scholarships to the Families and Members of the SEAL Community. He has also started his own successful consulting company helping corporations navigate the government hallways and effectively reach those that can make decisions to achieve maximum success for their products.

Chris led the East Coast SEAL Teams as the Group Command Master Chief and finished his career at the United States Operations Command as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the General. He has extensive training and expertise in sensitive intelligence activities, to include strategic debriefing and collection activities; Human Intelligence (HUMINT) screening operations; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) employment; and threat/vulnerability assessments. An effective and practiced communicator able to speak and write persuasively across demographic, geographic and cross-functional divides while delivering critical insightful analysis. Easily develops relationships to achieve consensus with foreign and domestic military, government officials/ agencies and civilian leaders. Accustomed to working in a fast paced and demanding position with minimal direct oversight by senior management.

Career supported by a Master’s in organizational leadership, a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership, professional development and leadership program attendance, and an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance. Chris lives in Tampa with his Wife Christina.
